I run VirtualBox(in Windows 7) with Linux Mint installed and see these scroll bars.Those.Linux Mint does not get into the VirtualBox window.

Tried(in the VirtualBox menu)
Device - Connect the disk image to the additional guest OS

and(in the terminal)
sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-additions-iso virtualbox-guest-dkms virtualbox-guest-x11 virtualbox-guest-utils

It did not help.

How to fix?

P.S.
When installed, in the , I had to choose"Start in compatibility mode"because in the normal mode, I could not install it(I tried 2 times on a working PC and home laptop) - the installation did not complete until the end(it gave an error).

Changed the size of the hard disk(in VirtualBox) to 25 GB and reinstalled Linux Mint(in normal mode, and not compatibility mode) - the problem has disappeared.

Even without installing the"disk image of an additional guest OS" - there are no sliders and everything works fine!

Start from the 5th point
  • and again did not help... what is it? ((

When installed, I had to choose"Start in compatibility mode" in the bootCD window, because I could not install it in normal mode (I tried 2 times on my work PC and home laptop)

You can also adjust the screen resolution.
Until the guest software is installed, this will be the case. Here’s the step-by-step action:
