Good afternoon.
Tell me, please, is it possible to scalp with a mouse or is it necessary to have a tablet, is it very difficult to sculpt with a mouse or is this lack of practice?
  • How much practice do you have? – Tender Tortoise Aug 16 '19 at 22:27

  • Clumsy73, do you even own a sculpture, not a computer? What about drawing?
If not, in any case it will be difficult for you for quite some time.
In general, a rather effective combination - a three-dimensional mouse or trackball for manipulating the direction of vision and a small tablet with touch sensitivity - actually for modifying the form.Without sensitivity to pressing, it won’t work quickly and efficiently anyway.
This is if we are talking specifically about sculpture(ZBrush), and not about polygonal modeling, where sensitivity to pressing does not play a role.

You won’t notice a very big boost.
Given that the model can be rotated at any convenient angle - the mouse is almost like a pen.

An order of magnitude more convenient than Cintiq, but it costs a lot for a beginner.
Not real.A tablet and only a tablet.
